Guests can choose from 10 standard pool facing cabanas or eleven deluxe stone chalets, two of which are family cottages and sleep four. Double and single bed configurations are the two options available.
The chalets are en-suite and include hot showers, bathtub, flushing toilet and washbasins.
A private veranda with uninterrupted views of the lake is your own little sanctuary and is the perfect place to sit in the early morning with a cup of freshly brewed Ugandan coffee.
Crater Safari Lodge has a large open plan lounge spanning two floors. The wooden and thatch structure is filled with comfy sofas, a warm fireplace and an intimate bar area.
There is a restaurant serving delicious meals on the first floor, or if you prefer, they can set a table for you right on the edge of the lake, for a romantic candlelit dinner overlooking the water.
There is a beautiful swimming pool and cabana area, and the lodge offers poolside service.
The lodge also offers Wi-Fi in the lounge, a babysitting service and laundry.
There are several activities in Kibale Forest National Park to suit all interests. Kibale is East Africa's best place for chimpanzee tracking, with a 95% chance of encountering these intelligent creatures in their natural environment.
If you love the water, you can kayak on Lake Nyanbulitwa, or if you prefer hiking, you can trek around pristine crater lakes or trek to the beautiful Mahoma falls. Local community and tea plantation visits are also fantastic activities.
